National 9/11 Memorial
Honoring the lives of those who were lost, the Memorial occupies eight of the 16 acres at the World Trade Center. The Memorial is a tribute to the past and a place of hope for the future.
At the 9/11 Memorial, visitors have the unique opportunity to witness the World Trade Center rebuilding taking place around them - including the construction of 1 World Trade Center, which is now the tallest building in New York City. During this interim period of construction, access to the 9/11 Memorial is managed by a timed reservation system for both individuals and groups.

Visit Governors Island - Opens May 2013
Take a free ferry ride from lower Manhattan and enjoy 172 acres of open grass and gardens. Summer 2013 features big-name concerts, polo, a beer garden, trapeze performances, a sandy beach and much more!
The island is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and holiday Mondays through Sept. 30, 2013.
